With the support of the Global Environment Facility, the Ministry of Environment plans to replace the official cars of government agencies with electric ones.

Oldest known leather shoe found in Armenia, rewriting early footwear history
The Areni-1 shoe, lifted from an Armenian cave in 2008, is roughly 5,500 years old — older than the wheel, laced, and stuffed with grass. Cut from a single cowhide and shaped to the foot, it survived thanks to the cave’s cold, dry conditions. A small object that hints at a much richer lost world.
